The Post's Adam Kilgore describes the scene on Wednesday at Nationals Park when Livan Hernandez thought he'd tagged out Luis Hernandez to end the fifth inning, and started sauntering off the field. Not so fast. Umpire Mike DiMuro thought Livo missed the tag. Livo started arguing. Moments later, Livo threw out R.A. Dickey for the third out instead. Video here.
"I tagged him really hard. I ask the home-plate umpire. He said he didn't see it either. Oh, my God. I see everybody screaming and I turn around and I see Dickey go toward third base and I threw [him out]."
