See you in 2012, Stephen.
Stephen Strasburg, meet Tommy John.
"We feel there is a significant tear and there is going to be Tommy John surgery. Louis Yocum is one of the leading experts in this field. We are certainly going to listen to what he says, but I anticipate Stephen will have Tommy John surgery."
(Mike Rizzo, via Nationals.com, 8/27/2010)"It's a tough day for him and for all of us, for everyone who's a Nats fan. But we saw Jordan [Zimmermann] come back last night. A year from today, Stephen will be joining him."
(Stan Kasten, via Nationals Journal, 8/27/2010)
Devastating: Strasburg needs Tommy John surgery, likely out for 12-18 months once his second opinion comes in and he goes under the knife.
I know there's a bright side to this story, just having trouble seeing it right now.
Best Wishes for a speedy recovery, Jesus. It was fun while it lasted.

I see the problem right from your picture. The guy has no bicep at all. That must be killer on the forearm.
