In the first inning of yesterday's painful 5-4 loss to the Giants, Ryan Zimmerman lined a 1-0 Barry Zito pitch foul.... nailing a poor AT&T Park Churros vendor in the jaw. Ouch! Amazingly, the vendor just waves it off and continues on his merry way. We concur with the CSN-SF broadcast crew: Hope that guy sold a few extra churros to his appreciative customers for the effort.
Even more painful than taking a line drive to the jaw? Checking the standings this morning and finding the Nationals residing in the NL East basement. Yes, they're only 3 games out of first place, and they're roomies with the Marlins...but still, we're feeling a little bit like that Churros Vendor in the video above...or like Dmitri Young after his Frontier League team bus got stolen:

Another thing I got from this clip is how boring their announcers are. Thank goodness for bob and rob.
