Lost Weekend. Halfway home.

"Obviously, I want to be in a better spot in the win and loss column. But I'm pretty pleased with the effort and the progress we have made when it comes down to playing the game the way we want it to be played."
(Manny Acta, via Washington Times, 7/2/2007)

NAAAts vs. Pirates: Loss, Loss, Win.

Losing is no fun, but walkouts are. Hip injuries are not hip (Sorry, Micah Bowie). Da Meat Hook is an All Star, hopefully soon he won't be a NAAAt.

Meanwhile, until he takes the mound in a major league game, this is the last time you'll see the name "John Patterson" invoked at The Nationals Enquirer. Just a big waste of time talking about him, so we'll stop.

At the halfway mark "Halfway to Nowhere" over at N3P tidily sums up the '07 campaign...
