(Nobody loves a post-game interview like Stephen Strasburg. Picture of TV/MASN by Nationals Enquirer staff.)
Stephen Strasburg added a new facial expression to his repertoire of Uncomfortable Stephen Strasburg Press Conference Faces after last night's start in Miami: The Eye Roll. Video here. In his previous starts we've seen, in no particular order: The Grimace; The Cringe; The Ouch!; The '"The Last Place in the World I Want to be Right Now is at This Table Doing a Post-Game Interview'"; and The "I Will Shoot Lasers Out of My Eyes and Kill You if You Ever Ask Me Another Question About My Personal Life", among others.
Strasburg pulled off The Eye Roll flawlessly Friday night after a question about why he didn't throw more changeups against the Marlins. Question seemed fair enough, but Strasburg rolled 'em, then explained:
"Well, they didn't prove they could hit my fastball, so I wasn't going to throw any changeups to possibly make a mistake, leave it up, and speed up their bats a little bit. So, it's a pitch that, if they can prove they can hit my other ones, I'll throw that, but they didn't do that tonight."

Love that answer: That's an Ace talking, right there.
