"Excellent. I felt great all night. I was locating my pitches all night. ... I threw more change-ups today than I’ve ever thrown in a game before. They were all down in the zone and there was a little movement on them at the end, so that’s good."

Jordan Zimmerman made his third rehab start for Potomac on Wednesday night (NatsNewsNetwork was there), and it seemingly went off without a hitch (keeping fingers and toes crossed hoping his elbow feels fine the day after).
His line: 4.0 IP, 6 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 4 K.
MASN's Byron Kerr reports that Zimmermann threw 53 pitches, 40 for strikes, and hit between 91-95 on the radar gun.
A couple more quotes pulled from a report by The News & Messenger's Joe Conroy, via InsideNOVA.com:
"He had good command of all his pitches and sometimes he threw too many strikes, if that’s a bad problem to have. I thought he looked really good."

"I’m a little antsy, but I know it’s a process and I’ve got to take my time. There are stages to this thing so I’m going to be bouncing around a little bit. Hopefully, I’ll be able to get up there in September."

Take it slow...but see you in D.C. in August, Mr. Zimmermann, just in time to replace Strasburg for the playoff drive?
