A win is a win. Even an ugly win in front of lots of empty blue seats.
Nationals 7, Pirates 5: Pretty ugly, and a pretty tough act for Lannan to follow.
Lannan's line: 4.2 IP, 10H, 4 ER, 3 BB, 2 K.
Bullpen picks up Lannan: Walk, Store, Clipp, n' Save pitch 4.1 scoreless.
Meanwhile...

Strasburgmania is in full swing. Strasburg to do Letterman tonight.
-
Tickets for Strasburg's next start, scheduled for Sunday in Cleveland, are selling fast: 3,000 tickets sold yesterday alone, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
-
Believe it or not, there's even some non-Strasburg stuff happening around the Nationals!
-
Surprise. Scott Olsen has a setback. See you in Viera in 2011? Right on cue: Ross Detwiler survived a rehab start with Potomac: 3 IP, 0 ER, 4 H, 1 BB, 2 K, 40 pitches. MASN's Ben Goessling Tweeted last night that Detwiler will report to Strasburg Harrisburg today.
-
In all the Strasburg/Harper furor, we almost forgot there were several more rounds of MLB Draft over the last couple of days. Go over to Nationals Farm Authority to get all caught up.
Olsen, a setback with his now chronic shoulder isuue? I am shocked. Poll question suggestion - who do you really want to see in the rotation now - Martin or Stammen? I vote Stammen.
PS - Have tix for tonight. Looking forward to experieincing the miracle of the invisible disciples first hand!

I think I like Stammen, too. Last start was good -- and if you could go back and erase most first innings from his starts this year, you're looking at a pretty good #4 or #5 starter...
Enjoy the game tonight -- might be a smaller # of invisible disciples tonight: It's Ladies Night!
