Hello, Hammy?
Ryan Zimmerman departed tonight's game against the Rockies after (apparently) aggravating his sore hamstring on a seventh inning double that was thisclose to being a go-ahead HR.
Or was it just a cramp?
"It was a cramp, it wasn't the same leg as the previous injury...so...hopefully it was a cramp...I say it was a cramp. Hope it wasn't a pull of some type. But he definitely felt something."
(Jim Riggleman, via MASN/postgame press conference, 4/21/2010)"It felt more like a cramp than anything..." (Ryan Zimmerman, via MASN, 4/21/2010)
Zimm needs his own personal trainer/physical therapist on staff, stat. Consecutive hammy injuries are no coincidence. Dammit.

At least it was the other leg. And just a cramp. Maybe. But yeah.
