Can we just be put out of our misery already? Maybe just forfeit the rest of the season or something?

Chico Harlan says it's just a getaway day thing, but we're wondering if maybe Jim Riggleman finally understands the importance of tanking the rest of the season on purpose and winning the Bryce Harper Sweepstakes going away?

Of course, you know how these things work: today will be the day the Nationals' recently-MIA offense finally breaks out for, like, 15 runs or something.
