REDDING LIKELY DONE FOR THE SEASON AFTER BP SCARE

20080807tr

Here we go again! Redding drilled in the left quad by a BP liner -- team says he's day-to-day.

So, in other words: See you in 2009, Tim! (the 'running joke' continues)

The news, unfiltered, via Nationals dot com:

The Nationals received a scare on Thursday afternoon when right-hander Tim Redding suffered a right quadriceps contusion after being hit by a line drive during batting practice. He is listed as day-to-day.

Comments

I think you're missing the good news here: a Nats player hit a hard line drive.

I actually think that picture is the most athletic I have ever seen Redding look.
