"We have one set of rules for everybody. When we're dealing with young guys like we are right now, that's part of the problem. They're gonna have to learn to put together those 24 hours a day and show up on time. ... It's put to rest; he felt bad about it."

...and not about last night's calf cramp, but about last night's brain cramp.
This morning, Nationals Enquirer staff members are fretting about Dukes' late arrival to Nationals Park for last night's game. Just a young guy being a young guy, like Manny says, or a sign of trouble?

Young guy being young guy. C'mon, we were told to expect someone who would be packing a GATT in the clubhouse and impregnating young, unsuspecting Bethesdians. He was late. Manny dealt with it. Kid came out and helped us win. Buck sez we go a month without another Elijah story.

OK, if you say so, Steven. Believe me, I'm hoping for the best with Dukes, but fair or unfair, every little incident he's involved in is a bigger deal than with any other "young guy". I'll take that buck bet.
