IT WAS LOOKING GOOD THERE FOR A WHILE...

"Forget about it. Game's over. I can't do anything about it now."
(Jon Rauch, via Washington Post, 7/1/2008)
Marlins 6, Nats 5: ...but it's the Marlins, so a loss is almost guaranteed these days.
Extra, extra painful day for closers. It was looking good late, but Rauch gave it up.
Meanwhile...
- Looking for positives.
- Chief. Damn.
- Steinberg on the 'rivalry'.
- All these callups from Columbus are killing the Clippers' post-season chances!

Do the Nats have some weird labrum-itis issue?
Steinberg's post was interesting, but I'm guessing lots of O's tv viewers are Yanks and Sox fans (cause if you've ever gone to a game...). Oh, plus the Nats suck.
Sox must hate themselves for passing up on Hanley...

Good point about the possible Yankee/Red Sox effect on those TV numbers...yeah, the general state of the Nats certainly doesn't help any.
