Draft Shocker! "The most important draft in Washington Nationals history" will make history:
According to unnamed sources, the Washington Nationals will select the nearly-unhittable Monica Abbott with their #1 pick (#6 overall) in in the 2007 First-Year Player Draft on Thursday. The team plans to replace both Levale Speigner and Jason Simontacchi with Abbott "as soon as humanly possible", according to one high ranking team official.
Meanwhile, Abbott (4 straight shutouts!?), Lady Vols, kicking ass and taking names in the WCWS...
